Italiano con Manisha is an online Italian language school where we help students not only become fluent, but truly fall in love with the language.
Our mission is to build your confidence and fluency through practical lessons, that are fun, flexible, and rooted in authentic communication.
We don’t teach textbook Italian - we teach the Italian that’s spoken in real life, by real people, every single day! Because that’s the Italian you actually need. Our lessons are based on the communicative approach, which means we put speaking at the heart of everything we do, without neglecting the essentials like grammar, listening, and reading and writing comprehension.
The result? You learn to speak naturally and confidently, while building a solid foundation across all areas of the language.
About Manisha
Ciao! I'm a Certified Italian Language Teacher and I've been teaching for the past 6 years.
I grew up in the beautiful town of Modena, in northern Italy.
During my university years, I got the amazing opportunity to intern at a well-known Italian Language School in my hometown - and that's how I started my teaching career!
I have a BA in European Foreign Languages, and in 2017, I spent six months in Sweden studying Languages and Literature at the University of Gothenburg as part of my exchange programme.
In 2019, I moved to London to pursue an MA in South Asian Languages from SOAS University. Additionally, I am a Certified DITALS teacher, and I have completed my MA in Specialised Translation (EN>IT).

Where are the lessons held?
The lessons take place online via Zoom. You will receive a link before each session.
How do I make the payment?
You can pay by bank transfer, Stripe, PayPal, or Revolut. The details will be sent to you upon booking.
How often are the lessons held?
If you are taking an individual (1:1) course, the frequency is flexible and will be agreed upon with the teacher. Group courses are usually held once a week.
Will I receive study materials?
Yes, after each lesson you will receive personalised materials: exercises, notes, links, vocabulary, and resources to practice with.
How do I know my Italian level?
You can book a call with us, and we will assess your level to make sure you end up in the right group.
